Goals and Purposes for Conference Session

• Provide dual (administrator and teacher) perspectives on the evaluation process, its benefits and shortcomings
• Encourage collaboration between teachers and administrators in achieving the end goal of extended student achievement
• Consider how planning and listening skills contribute to more meaningful, productive conferencing
• Examine how conferencing can facilitate the evaluation process and impact student achievement
